CIRCLES - VOL. 1

After almost a year of silence, here comes the next Kauna self-release. This time, I decided to base it on a completely different mood: instead of the atmospheric melancholy of The Void Boy and the Mountains, this is a collection of some heavier and grittier experimental halftime tracks, with the intention of more serious dancefloor compatibility. Although I've been making music like this since the beginning, and playing primarily these vibes in my DJ sets and online podcasts, this is the first BC release dedicated to a somewhat heavier sound.
Three out of the four tracks of the EP were made in the last few months, and the odd one out is The Assassin, a track made in 2016, which I've been playing live and in podcasts for three years as an untitled dub.
In terms of mood, however, Down Here is the special one, as it is much more atmospheric, closer to the album's vibe, while the title track is the opposite, it's the heaviest and noisiest of all.
I'm planning to continue with more dancefloor-oriented releases in the future on this site, also with some traditional drum & bass, so keep it locked...
